Jared is the father of Rapunzel. Prior, he was unable to conceieve with his ex-wife Sharon, generally treated poorly by the latter. Due to this, he tries to be loyal and does what he can to make her happy. Jared is a sweet man but is often too nice that people like Sharon take advantage of him. Some time after his divorce with Sharon, he opens his own flower shop where customers buy from him.
