Rapunzel is the titular protagonist of the story. She was initially characterized as a cocky, ill-mannered girl. Raised by Gothel, Rapunzel lacks self-discpline and a respectful nature. However, given her interactions and relationship with Felix, she develops a warm side and learned to love and care for those around her.
